We have partnered with the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) to develop training sessions for veteran support groups focusing on governance, and providing support for the preparation of funding applications.
All committee members are responsible for the financial management of their organisation. We suggest 2-3 people per organisation in attendance would be ideal, who can then filter the knowledge gained to the rest of their committee. This training will be particularly useful to all committee members, not just those in specific roles such as chairpersons, treasurers and secretaries.
We hope that this day will also be a great opportunity to network with other organisations who are dedicated to supporting veterans, meet the NIVSO team and learn new skills within a relaxed, social environment.
📍 The free training will be held in Belfast, with lunch provided. Attendees will receive resources, toolkits, and templates for both sessions.
