Job opportunities with The Ely Centre

The Ely Centre is hiring two Office Administrators to facilitate the work of the Ely Centre welfare team engaged in support for applications to the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payments Scheme (TPDPS).

There are two posts available, one in Enniskillen and one Markethill, and post holders will coordinate with the wider welfare team across the organisation. The Markethill-based administrator will also be required to provide support to the Director of Services.

Other duties will include:

  • Undertaking reception duties to welcome those seeking support from the organisation.
  • Providing administrative support to the welfare team in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Possessing an understanding of the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payments Scheme.
  • Managing diaries and arranging appointments when required.
  • Responding to telephone/email enquiries from all stakeholders in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Attending and taking minutes at meetings.
  • Issuing correspondence, carrying out filing and general office duties.
  • Proactively maintaining the filing system.
  • Proactively maintaining incoming and outgoing post registers.
  • Proactively maintaining and updating databases.
  • Organising all hospitality and administrative arrangements for meetings.
  • Administrative support to the Director of Services (Markethill post).
  • Complying with all other policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties that may reasonably be determined with the agreement of the Welfare Team.
  • Assisting clients as necessary to obtain further information when required.
  • Carrying out follow up work promptly and efficiently as required.
