A full time vacancy with an immediate start has arisen for a permanent Crown Servant position (Grade C2) in the role of the Regional Employer Engagement Director (REED), based at RFCA NI in Belfast.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Using the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system)
  • Key stakeholder relationship management
  • Achievement of relevant EE SLA Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
  • Coordinate and deliver co-signing events of the Armed Forces Covenant

Defence Infrastructure Organisation

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) are currently seeking an Administration Officer to join their team in Lisburn. This is a full-time, permanent role with an annual salary of £21,169 and flexible working options.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Initiate and activate online applications with the National Security Vetting (NSV) Agency for the delivery of Counter Terrorism Checks (CTC) for Contractors needing to gain access to Military Establishments in Northern Ireland.
  • Using the CLARITY system, book hire and pool cars for DIO staff when required.
  • Procurement of PPE equipment for all DIO staff based in Northern Ireland.
  • Booking travel for group bookings.
  • Provision of Stationary including printer and copier consumables.
  • General and IT Support to Site Based Teams – bulk photocopying, recording of Minutes, scanning, shredding and conference facilities.
  • Supporting the cascade of all communications to DIO colleagues based in Northern Ireland.
  • Deputy for the Building Custodian and Security Officer.

Head of Capability (HoC) Defence Support (DefSp)

The Head of Capability (HoC) Defence Support (DefSp) are recruiting two full-time Capability Managers to work anywhere in the UK. These are permanent roles, with an annual salary of £34,000.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible to Capability Manager Strategic Base and SO1 Support Inform for the coherent capability management of all joint support Strategic Base and Support Inform capabilities.
  • Coordinating and cohering relevant activity across Director Capability, Defence Support Organisation, Front-Line Commands and Enabling Organisations as appropriate.
  • Manage the development and staffing of candidate options and ABC Planning Rounds.
  • Act as the lead for all Capability Audit and Investigatory work across joint support capabilities within the Strategic Base and Support INFORM, liaising with Finance & Military Capability and other external and internal parties, coordinating input and drafting of reports.
  • Manage risk and the Risk, Assumptions, Issues. Dependencies and Opportunities (RAIDO) outputs from Capability Planning Working Groups and Capability Planning Groups, feeding necessary Defence impacts through to the Capability Readiness Assessment Framework process.
  • Support the co-ordination and execution of the Strategic Base and Support Inform Capability Planning Group as required.
  • Act as the lead focal point and secretary for nominated Capability Planning Working Groups.
