A Royal Ulster Rifles Korean War Veteran from Co. Down, Mr Albert Morrow, aged 93, took part in a ceremony in Korea on the 22nd of April to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Imjin.
Mr Morrow was filmed ahead of the ceremony, and his special video message was played as part of the commemoration.
Speaking to us about his experiences during the Korean War, Mr Morrow said: "I served with the 1st Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles in Korea in 1950 and 1951."
"I was at the Battle of Happy Valley and the Battle of Imjin. They were terrible battles, and many Riflemen were killed, wounded or taken prisoner of war," he explained.
"I was very proud to be invited to take part in this event in Korea to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Imjin," Mr Morrow said.
Other UK Veterans also took part in the special event, and Brigadier Mike Murdoch, R IRISH, gives an introduction and overview of the events that took place 70 years ago at Imjin.
